Autumn Affirmation Cards
Saturday, October 3rd, 11:00am-1:00pm
At the Eno Arts Mill in Hillsborough, NC

Join us for a creative and mindful journey to tune into Autumn’s rhythms—a time of intentional release and inward focus. We will draw from seasonal wisdom to create nature-inspired affirmation cards. This session blends mindfulness, the expressive arts, and nature connection. You will leave with a mini deck of personalized self-care cards to encourage you throughout the season.

This compassionate space is for anyone who hopes to breathe life into their creativity and attune to the rhythms of the natural world. No previous art or writing experience is necessary. All materials are provided.

Seasonal Concertinas: Exploring Micro Seasons with Accordion Books
Saturday, November 14th, 11:00am-1:00pm
At the Eno Arts Mill in Hillsborough, NC

In this compassionate space, we will slow down to notice subtle shifts in the current landscape. The framework of micro seasons will inspire our mindfulness practices and creative expression. Micro seasons are an alternative way of measuring time and of deepening our seasonal wisdom.

We will use expressive watercolors, found natural materials, and writing prompts to map the ‘glimmers’ of the present season and house our reflections in a hand-crafted accordion book.

Our explorations will draw from the expressive arts, poetry, and nature journaling. You will leave with a finished mini book as well as a renewed practice for attuning to seasonal rhythms.

Beholding Wonder: A Self-Guided Retreat

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
Rachel Carson, The Sense of Wonder

Beholding Wonder is available as a self-guided retreat (PDF) to cultivate your sense of wonder through nature, mindfulness, and creativity. In this gentle guide, you will explore a nature treasure using expressive writing, nature journaling, art making, and poetry. You will also practice cherishing, gratitude, and compassion to nurture yourself and foster kinship with the natural world. Appropriate for individuals and families, Beholding Wonder embraces self-care and co-creating with nature. This retreat is also lovely to revisit each season to attune to seasonal rhythms throughout the year.
